Follow the direction on our homebrew channel page, section Upgrading the Homebrew Channel and Usb Loader page, section Updating Configurable USB Loader.
Updating d2x:
-download d2x installer 3.1 and extract to the apps folder of your SD.
-download one of the featured d2x.
Choose one of the Wii distributions that matches your needs from this table. If you want to keep it simple, you won't be using any nand emulation features.
-extract it into the folder /apps/d2x-cios-installer, it could overwrite ciosmaps.xml if it was present there, which is fine.
-follow the steps from our d2x page, Installation procedure section starting from step 3 if you are connected to the internet.
-if you are not connected to internet, start from step 2, but I'm not sure if it is IOS56-64-v5661.wad and IOS57-64-v5918.wad that required for this version. I'm too lazy to verify it now, maybe you can post it afterwards. The program will report which files are needed and you can get them with NUS Dowloader mentioned in that same page.
note: pay attention at step 6, choose the d2x version you just dowloaded, as it should be on there now when you press left/right
Good luck
