Dr Clipper or anyone that has a 4.2 wii setup per GAF's tutorial…

I was given a few scrubbed dvd backup discs (including the new Lego Pirates of the Caribbean) with nice disc/cover art, etc. My sons really like to use actual discs over the usb drive if that option is available - they look cool :-). So, I wanted to add a backup dvd launcher to my wii for easy play for my 4 and 6 yr old boys for these discs. I like the look of backup launcher 0.3 gamma (BLC_Wii-ish_v2_EN) but I can't get it to work. I also tried neogamma because it is a newer loader with way more options than I need, but that indicated a disc reader error (don't recall exactly the error message as I was getting frustrated at that point).

Can someone please give me the best solution for only playing backup dvd games with a nice looking forwarding channel (like the wii-ish one mentioned above) and basic instructions on installation?

You may notice that this site is anti-piracy. Using backup discs is pretty useless as you could just use your originals if you prefer discs. Thus, this is something that won't be seen on this tutorial. As for your problem, I'm guessing you have one of the Wiis that can't play burnt discs. Nintendo fixed that particular problem a while back.

I understand and respect your response and pirating was/is not my "goal" (lol - Pirates of the Caribbean is the dics I have the issue with). I have considered this problem with all the discs I have bought. I have them backed up on the usb drive, but as I indicated, my sons prefer to use the discs and we have already experienced a disc that will not work from "over use". Disc replacement would be expensive and I thought about backing up their favorite discs on DVD with nice printed cover art (I have the ability to do that at work and a co-worker is where I received the backup discs in question), but if that won't work on my unit, my boys will just have to play the usb backup when a disc becomes inoperable from the kid factor.

BTW - I really appreciate your efforts with the tutorials, etc. Best method and explanation I have seen out there…
